Ameboma is a partially treated or chronic form of amebic dysentery which lead to the non malignant inflammatory mass in the bowel. It may happen in the appendix, cecum and rectosigmoid area. The symptoms may include loss of weight, intestinal obstruction and low grade fever. Colonic ameboma with amebic liver abscesses may present as colorectal carcinoma and liver metastases. To differentiate imaging technique with CT scan is considered.
