Symptom Finder - Treatment of Bell Palsy
BELL PALSY
1. Prednisone: 20–30 mg bid × 7 days and taper over the next 7 days.
2. Prednisolone: 25 mg bid × 7 days and taper over next 7 days.
3. Valacyclovir: 1,000 mg daily × 5 days (optional) unless Ramsay- Hunt syndrome present.
4. Neurology Consult.
