Vipoma is a form of pancreatic tumor that secretes the vasoactive intestinal polypeptide which is a form of pancreatic hormone. This pancreatic hormone will reduce the secretion of the gastric acid. Vipoma is also known as Verner Morrison Syndrome. The symptoms and signs of Vipoma may include hypokalemia, watery diarrhea and achlorhydria.Achlorhydria is reduction in the gastric acid production.
