Fluid is given for burnt victim based on the Parkland formula. Based on Parkland formula, 3 -4 ml / kg of body weight multiply by the percentage of total body surface that is burned and the volume of the fluid requires will be given in 24 hours with the first half during the first 8 hours and the second half during the next 16 hours.
