Bladder transitional cell carcinoma
Bladder transitional cell carcinoma may present with symptoms and signs such as palpable mass on bimanual examination, irritative voiding, painless hematuria , supraclavicular lymphadenopathy and painless hematuria.
Bladder transitional cell carcinoma may present with normal transitional cell or anaplastic tumor cell with multiple mitoses and giant cells. Bladder transitional cell carcinoma occur due to exposure to the aniline dyes, phenacetin, smoking and cyclophosphamide. The transitional cell carcinoma may appear as invasive, non invasive, flat and papillary form which may appear in urinary tract system.
The treatment of transitional cell carcinoma may include transurethral resection of the tumor, radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
