Gonococcal Infections, Acute (Includes urethritis, vaginitis, cervicitis, pharyngitis, and proctitis)
1. Ceftriaxone (Rocephin) 125 mg IM single dose.
2. Alternatively cefixime (Suprax) 400 mg p.o. in single dose.
3. Follow up with treatment for Chlamydia using doxycycline (Vancomycin) 100 mg bid × 7 days in women with gonococcal infection.
