Pharyngeal pouch affects commonly elderly male. The pathology of pharyngeal pouch may include the pulsion diverticulum of the pharynx through the gap in the inferior constrictor known as Killian’s dehiscence. The common causes of pharyngeal pouch may include uncoordinated swallowing. Patient with pharyngeal pouch may present with halithosis,swelling of the neck, dysphagia, regurgitation of the food and sore throat. Barium swallow may reveal the present of the pouch. The treatment of pharyngeal pouch may include open or laparoscopic Dohlman’s excision.
