Cicatrisation may involves the cicatrisation of the pylorus which lead to pyloric stenosis, cicatrisation around the saddle shape of the lesser curvature ulcer which lead to the hourglass stomach and common in women and teapot stomach due to cicatrisation around the lesser curvature of the ulcer.
