Hypotensive resuscitation focus on the judicial use of intravenous fluids with the aim to resuscitate the patient while maintaining the blood pressure less than 100 mmHg. The rises in blood pressure may lead to a formation of a clot which may blown off the site of rupture. This may exacerbate the bleeding.
