Pancreas is located in the retroperitoneum which forms part of the stomach bed. Pancreasa consists of head, uncinated process, neck, body and tail. Pancreas is mainly supplied by the splenic artery, superior and inferior pancreaticoduodenal arteries (head of the pancreas) and venous drainage through splenic vein which drain into the portal vein.
