FOLLICULITIS
1. Bacitracin and Polymyxin B topical ointment (Polysporin): Apply tid to affected area.
2. Erythromycin topical (Eryderm): Apply tid to affected area.
3. Alternatively use clindamycin (Cleocin) topical gel: Apply tid to affected area.
4. Oral antibiotics if above unsuccessful in the form of azithromycin 250–500 qd or cefuroxime (Ceftin) 250–500 qid.
