Banding is considered as one of the outpatient treatment for patient with hemorrhoids and banding treatment is provided for the cases of primary and secondary hemorrhoids. In banding, a rubber band is placed around the hemorrhoids which result in the shrinkage due to fibrosis and ischemia.
