Ankle brachial pressure index is measured by finding the ratio of the blood pressure at the region of the dorsalis pedis artery which can be done by using a blood pressure cuff at the ankle and the brachial artery which can be done by using a blood pressure cuff at the arm. Hand held Doppler is considered.
