Superficial dermal burn is known as second degree burns which is tender on palpation and patient complains of pain. On inspection, superficial dermal burn may be presented as erythematous lesion with blister and the loss of epidermis. Superficial dermal burn is treated with aspiration of the blister fluid, apply absorbent dressing in the form of hydrocolloids or plastic films and surgical action is considered if no healing for 2 – 3 weeks.
