Surgery Definition - What are the classification of post operative hemorrhage?
Post operative hemorrhage can be classified as primary hemorrhage that immediately occurs at operation, secondary hemorrhage or reactionary hemorrhage that occur less than 24 hours as a result of subsequent rise in blood pressure post operatively and secondary hemorrhage that occurs more than 24 hours as a result of infection.
