Achondroplasia is well known as a form of skeletal dysplasia which occurs due to mutation of the FGFR 3.
The common symptoms and signs of achondroplasia may include short limbed, dwarfism, relative case of macrocephaly, midface hypoplasia and trident shaped hands.
The treatments of achondroplasia may include regular monitoring of the progressive hydrocephalus to avoid any risk of bone overgrowth at the foramen magnum.
The complication of achondroplasia may include gibbus deformity and lumbar lordosis
