Ischioanal fossae is a wedge shaped, fat filled region on either sides of the anal canal and the boundaries include skin over the anal region of the perineum as the base, levator ani and anal canal will form the medial wall and ischial tuberosity below and obturator internus above will form the lateral wall and apex where the lateral and medial walls meet.
