Focal nodular hyperplasia is one of the differential diagnosis of hepatocellular adenoma. However, focal nodular hyperplasia depends on the risk factor of only female with no risk of developing cancer and CT scan may show the present of central scar. Technetium 99 will detect the present of focal nodular hyperplasia not hepatocellular adenoma.
