Colorectal injury is managed in the same way as small bowel injury. Stoma is created while the patient is recover. Any primary anastomosis should be avoided due to the possibility of the breakdown of the primary anastomosis which lead to leakage of the gross feces that lead to subsequent intra abdominal sepsis.
