Allergy is the condition where the antigens / allergens cause the hypersensitive reaction to the body. The symptoms of allergy is provoked by injection, inhalation, ingestion and contact. Pathologically, the antibodies in the bloodstream or in the tissue will react and lead to destruction of specific antigens In person who suffers from allergic reaction, the allergen will trigger the release of antibodies ( IgE) which bind to the mast cells in the tissues of the body. This reaction of allergen to the tissue bound antibody will lead to side effects such as the destruction of the cell, the release of the serotonin and histamine and inflammation. Different allergies reaction may affect different organs or tissue and may have local or general effect form hay fever, asthma,gastroenteritis, dermatitis or serious life threatening shock.
