STREPTOCOCCAL PHARYNGITIS
A 16-year-old white male presents with a sore throat. He has definite exudates of his tonsils, and they are swollen and red. He also has prominent cervical adenopathy. You diagnose streptococcal tonsillitis and treat him with appropriate antibiotics but a week later, he is no better. You should look for
