The complications of fracture may include delayed in the union of the fracture, stiffness of the joint as a result of prolonged immobilisation, infection, deformity or malunion, compartment syndrome mostly in fracture of the tibia or fracture of the supracondylar in children, avascular necrosis mostly in the case of humeral head fracture, talus fracture, scaphoid fracture and femoral head fracture and neurovascular complications.
